TrueType fonts are not displayed in MS-DOS...due to graphics mode enabled.
Cause:
Changing the displayed font to a TrueType font in an MS-DOS window does not always change the font on the screen. TrueType fonts cannot be displayed in an MS-DOS window if the MS-DOS application is running in graphics mode.
Solution:
Click the 'Start' button, select 'Programs', and select 'MS-DOS Prompt'. Click the 'MS-DOS' icon in the upper left corner and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Font' tab and select the 'Both font types' radio button. Click 'OK', and type EXIT, and press ENTER.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'MS-DOS Prompt'. (The 'MS-DOS Prompt' window appears.)
3) Click the 'MS-DOS' icon in the upper left corner of the window and select 'Properties'. (The 'MS-DOS Prompt Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Font' tab. (The 'Font' tabbed page appears.)
5) In the 'Available types' group, select the 'Both font types' radio button.
6) In the 'Font size' list box, select the desired font size.
NOTE: TT appears next to each TrueType font. Fonts without this designation are bitmap fonts.
7) Click 'OK' to close the 'MS-DOS Prompt Properties' dialog box.
8) At the MS-DOS prompt, type EXIT and press ENTER.
